Entering into Agreements / Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between the Local Authorities of Sri Lanka and the Provincial Entities of Foreign Countries under the Friendship City Concept

- Various Local Authorities have implemented several programmes in collaboration with the different provincial entities of foreign countries under the Friendship City Concept. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Faiszer Musthapha, the Minister of Provincial Councils, Local Government and Sports, to appoint an Officials' Committee representing all the relevant Ministries and Institutions to evaluate the proposals made in respect of such Programmes or Agreements and take necessary future course of action accordingly, was approved by the Cabinet.
