Conducting post procurement reviews and detailed investigations

- The Government has focused its attention to ensure that the state funds spent on public procurement made for various requirements of the government, are value for money and to ascertain that such procurement is made in terms of the Government Procurement Guidelines. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to implement the proposals for post procurement reviews and detailed investigations on all public procurement made by the government institutions avoiding duplication with the programmes of other Ministries, was approved by the Cabinet.
