Road Development Projects in the Northern and Eastern Provinces.

- The proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to award 05 Contract packages for the rehabilitation and improvement of the roads in the Northern and Eastern Provinces identified to be developed expeditiously by the District Development Committees of the said Provinces, to the recognized road construction companies as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiation Committee/ Project Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
