Expansion of the facilities at the Vocational Training Centre, Anamaduwa

- It has been proposed to expand the facilities of the Vocational Training Centre at Anamaduwa with a view to conducting courses targeting the present job market. This will enable to conduct the courses such as Cookery, Bakery and Related Products, Computer Graphic Designing and Human Resource Management belonging to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 4 (equivalent to G.C.E. A/L) which have a great demand in the job market. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Project Management and Southern Development, to secure Rs. 100 million for the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
