Improvement of the sanitation facilities in the Kataragama Sacred City.

- The Cabinet of Ministers has previously granted approval to implement the Development Project at Kataragama Sacred city. In addition to this project, considering the inadequate sanitation facilities and solid waste disposal mechanism for the general public visiting the sacred city, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to construct the required sanitation blocks in the Kataragama and Kebiliththa areas, was approved by the Cabinet.
