Construction of a New Building Complex for the Anuradhapura District Secretariat.

- Taking into consideration the space limitations prevailing in the building where the Anuradhapura District Secretariat is being maintained and with a view to providing more qualitative public service, the proposal made by Hon. Vajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Home Affairs, to construct a building complex of 150,000 sq.ft. with 07 floors with an investment of Rs.1,731.3 million, in place of the building being used to maintain the Anuradhapura District Secretariat and around 30 other offices of different Government Institutions, was approved by the Cabinet.
