Removal of sand dunes accumulated at the Harbour Mouth of the Oluvil Port.

- Difficulty in entering the fishing boats into the harbor due to the accumulation of sand dunes in the harbour mouth of the Oluvil Port has caused disruptions for the livelihood of the fishermen in the said area. As such, the information bought to the notice of the Cabinet of Ministers by Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, the Minister of Ports and Shipping, that measures are being taken to remove sand dunes accumulated in the harbour mouth of the port using dredgers enabling to use the Port without interrupting the fishing activities, was noted by the Cabinet.
