Project for strengthening the Regional Development Bank - (RDB)

- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide financial assistance amounting to (USD) 50 million for the Project on strengthening the Regiona Development Bank and in addition to providing USD 01 million through the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction (JFPR) to strengthen the operational capacity of the bank. As such the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Harsha De Silva, the Acting Minister, National Policies and Economic Affairs, to conduct the loan negotiation for the said purpose and enter into relevant agreements, was approved by the Cabinet.
