Upgrading the Healthcare Service Facilities of the National Hospital associated with the Throat, Ear and Nose (ENT)

- M/s VAMED Engineering Deutschland GmbH of Germany has presented a comprehensive project proposal for the development of facilities found for the prevention, identification and the treatment of impairments associated with the Throat, Ear and Nose (ENT) and for the improvement of the capacity of the National Hospital, Teaching Hospitals, Provincial General Hospitals, District General Hospitals and the Base Hospitals. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to conduct the necessary negotiations in regard to the evaluation and the implementation of the said proposal, was approved by the Cabinet.
