National Information and Cyber Security Strategy of Sri Lanka

- The Government has planned to implement the Cyber Security Strategy over a period of 05 years from 2019 - 2023. This strategy aims at creating a resilient Cyber Security Eco System that will enable the Citizens of Sri Lanka and other parties to improve their livelihoods by deriving the benefits of digital technologies. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Harin Fernando, the Minister of Telecommunication, Digital Infrastructure and Foreign Employment, to implement the Cyber Security Strategy designed with the participation of the experts in the field, was approved by the Cabinet.
