Cooperation between Sri Lanka and China

- Sri Lanka and China entered into a mutual cooperation for the betterment of the plantation industry of both countries. The proposal made by Hon. Navin Dissanayake, the Minister of Plantation Industries, to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding to develop tea, rubber and coconut in the plantation sector as the first step of the said cooperation, was approved by the Cabinet.
