Construction of the proposed Multipurpose Building adjoining the Beach Park at 'Crow Island', Mattakkuliya

- With a view to providing space to persons living in the Crow Island area of Mattakkuliya for their public activities, it has been proposed to construct a Multipurpose building adjacent to the Beach Park constructed therein, with the assistance of the World Bank. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Lasantha Alagiyawanna, the Acting Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to construct the Multipurpose building with a floor area of 14,500 sq.ft. in a land of 65 perches in extent, was approved by the Cabinet.
