Construction of rural bridges for the benefit of the beneficiaries in model villages in the Hambanthota District

- The proposal made by Hon. Sajith Premadasa, the Minister of Housing and Construction, to implement 06 projects, pertaining to the construction of the bridge across Kirama Oya in Katuwana, Batagassa, Youth Service Bridge across Kirama Ara in Handugala, Kammale Ferry Bridge across Urubokka Oya in Katuwana, bridge across Thundoala connecting Kohamporuwa and Siyambalamuraya, bridge across Kirama Oya in Beliatta along the Angulmaduwa - Aranwela road and fly over across Tangalle - Kadurupokuna road under the 'Nagamu Purawara' Programme to facilitate the beneficiaries of the model villages which are to be commenced in the villages with inadequate infrastructure facilities in the Hambantota District, for them to gain easy access to the common urban amenities, was approved by the Cabinet.
