Purchase of necessary materials to improve the distribution network for the supply of electricity of the Ceylon Electricity Board

- The proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the contracts for the purchase of 25,000 Distribution Substation Meters and Modems and 75,000 Transformers to improve the distribution network of the Ceylon Electricity Board to M/s Shenzeng Kaifa Technology Co.Ltd and M/s Shenzhen Chuangyin Co. Ltd. respectively, as per the recommendation of Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
