Construction of the Vocational Training Centre of the National Youth Services Council at Pitabeddara

- It has been planned to establish a Vocational Training Centre inclusive of the necessary infrastructure facilities with an investment of Rs.200 million at Pitabeddara to enable to conduct study courses pertaining to Cookery, Bakery and Related Products, Automobile Technology and Beauty Culture at the qualification Level to NVQ - 4 [equivalent to the G.C.E. (A/L)]. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Project Management and Southern Development, to secure the funds necessary for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
