The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed with the Chinese Academy of Sciences of the People's Republic of China

- It has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between Sri Lanka and China on mutual cooperation on scientific and technological research activities in the areas of Life, Marine, Earth, Environment and other sciences. As such, taking into consideration the facilities to be provided for the promotion of scientific research and technological development between the two countries, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Sarath Amunugama, the Minister of Science, Technology, Research, Skills Development & Vocational Training and Kandyan Heritage to enter into the proposed Memorandum of Understanding, was approved by the Cabinet.
