Appropriation Bill for the Financial Year 2019

- It has been scheduled to present the Appropriation Bill for the Financial year 2019 in the second week of October, in Parliament. These estimates have been prepared within the Medium Term Budgetary Framework 2019 – 2021, based on the policy priorities of the formulation of National Budget 2019 and taking into consideration the existing resources. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media, to present the Appropriation Bill in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
