Implementation of a programme to eradicate Bribery and Corruption

- A programme has been scheduled to launch a preventive system through open government partnership to eradicate bribery and corruption according to the concept paper titled “Corruption Prevention through Awareness Raising” and thereby changing attitudes of the people. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to implement the said programme during the years 2019 to 2021 and to secure funds required for the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
