Rehabilitating and improving roads under the Southern Road Connectivity Project

- It has been proposed to rehabilitate and improve 04 road sections i.e. a 1.90 km long road section from Homagama to Panagoda on Colombo - Ratnapura road, a 2.16 km long road section from Panagoda to Godagama junction on Colombo - Ratnapura road, a 0.58km long road section from W.A De Silva Mawatha to Pamankada on Pamankada-Horana road and a 2.95 km long road section in Piliyandala town on Pamankada-Horana Road by using the balance funds after the completion of projects scheduled to be implemented under the Southern Road Connectivity Project. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Kabir Hashim, the Minister of Highways & Road Development, to implement the above mentioned projects, was approved by the Cabinet.
