Establishment of an Industrial and Technological Development Super Zone at Raigama in Kalutara

- With a view to generating new employment opportunities and upgrading the living standards of the rural community, the proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, to establish the Industrial and Technological Development Super Zone with an investment of Rs.346 million in a block of land in extent of 24 acres in the Neuchatel Estate at Horahena in Millaniya, was approved by the Cabinet.
