Rehabilitation and Improvement of the road section of 27.75km from Tampitiya to Chenkalady under the Badulla-Chenkalady Road Improvement Project

- The Badulla-Chenkalady Road Improvement Project is implemented under 03 main stages with the financial assistance of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD). The proposal made by Hon. Kabir Hashim, the Minister of Highways & Road Development, to award the contract for the rehabilitation and improvement of the road section from 249.8 km to 277.55 km from Tampitiya to Chenkalady in the Badulla-Chenkalady Road as its 3rd stage, at a sum of Rs.2,837.43 million, without VAT, to Maga Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
