Completion of the construction work of the Public Library Building in Batticaloa

- Construction work of a new building in place of the 50 year old building where the present Public Library of Batticaloa is located is now underway. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to secure Rs.169.97 million required further to complete the construction work of the said building from the Budget of the year 2019, was approved by the Cabinet.
