Establishment of Standing Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committees to accelerate the implementation of projects

The proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media, to appoint Senior Officials such as Secretaries to the State Ministries, Additional Secretaries, Chief Financial Officers as members of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committees in order to expedite the procurement decision making process, to accelerate the projects inclusive of development projects implemented by the Government, was approved by the Cabinet.
