Construction of 08 rural bridges for the betterment of the beneficiaries of the model villages in the Hambantota district

- The proposal made by Hon. Sajith Premadasa, the Minister of Housing and Construction, to construct the 08 rural bridges under the 'Nagamu Purawara' programme namely, the bridge across the Rambukwewa Weligatta ara, the bridge across the Muwanwewa Weerawila ara, the Diyabendi bridge across Pannegamuwa and Abhayapura, the bridge across Ambalanthota Liyangastota and Bedigantota, the Malalaara, Ranmuduwewa bridge in the Thanamalwila road, the bridge between Rubberwatta and Uduwila, the Katuwana Keselwatta bridge and the bridge across Lunugamwehera right bank, for the housing beneficiaries of the model villages being initiated in the underdeveloped villages of the Hambantota district in order to provide easy access to the urban common amenities, was approved by the Cabinet.
