Procurement of Fertilizer

- The proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, the Minister of Agriculture, for the approval to procure 54,000 MT of Urea (Granular) at the rate of US$ 305 per MT and 6,500 MT of Urea (Prill) at the rate of US$ 325 per MT from Agri Commodities and Finance and 15,000 MT of Triple Super Phosphate at the rate of US$ 334.1 per MT from Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises, required by the Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited and Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Company limited for the production of Chemical Fertilizer for the month of September, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
