Procurement of an Accounting and Treasury Management System to be used for the Employees' Provident Fund

- Collection of Employees' Provident Fund amounting to around Rs.2,000 billion, maintenance of accounts, payment of benefits, investment of the excess funds and the preparation of financial statements of the funds, are done by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Since it has been found that it would be appropriate to replace the existing computer system associated with a new system for the accounting and treasury management activities of this fund, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media, to carry out the procurement activities for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
