Providing building facilities for the accommodation of the staff of the Naval Hospital Complex

- The Navy General Hospital which consists of 684 navel personnel provides medical facilities for about 450 persons per day including the navel personnel of the Sri Lanka Navy, the retired navel personnel and their family members. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to construct a permanent four storey residential building to facilitate the accommodation of the naval personnel taking into consideration the difficulties faced by them due to the absence of such permanent accommodation, was approved by the Cabinet.
