Construction of the new two storey hospital buildings for the Southern Naval Hospital of the Sri Lanka Navy

- Naval Hospital of the Southern Naval Command is located at Boossa and the hospital provides medical facilities for about 4,200 Navel personnel attached to the said Command and their family members. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to secure the further required funds for the construction of the 02, two storey buildings equipped with modern facilities in place of the old buildings with inadequate facilities in which this hospital is maintained at present, was approved by the Cabinet.
