Establishment of a new Trilingual National School in Colombo

- It has been proposed to establish a new Trilingual National School in Colombo to provide the female students of all ethnic groups with the education in three languages. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Minister of Education, to establish this as a Trilingual National School with an investment of Rs.900 million at the Wellawatta area and to secure the necessary facilities for the school, was approved by the Cabinet.
