National Occupational Safety Week 2018

- During the National Occupational Safety Week which falls from the 01st of October until the 06th of October various activities and awareness programmes have been planned to be conducted island-wide by the public and private sector institutions. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ravindra Samaraweera, the Minister of Labour & Trade Union Relations, to hold the National Occupational Safety and Health Seminar on the 02nd of October in Colombo and the National Occupational Safety and Health Award of Excellence at the National level, withing the said week was approved by the Cabinet.
