Providing housing facilities for veteran artists and establishing a China- Sri Lanka Museum

- The Government of China has agreed to provide the necessary funds to construct 108 houses to provide housing facilities for veteran artists and to establish a museum to reflect the historical China-Sri Lanka relationship on a request made by Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, the Speaker of Parliament of Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to implement the project under the financial grants provided by the Government of China, was approved by the Cabinet.
