Obtaining Consortium Consultancy Services for the Refurbishment of the Parliament Complex

- The Parliament building complex at Sri Jayawardenapura has been constructed in the year 1982 and during the past 35 years, no major refurbishments have been carried out in the building complex. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, to obtain the consultancy services for the refurbishment of the Parliament building complex identified to be done expeditiously, through the Urban Development Authority considering the recommendations of the Staff Advisory Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
