Establishment of the proposed Centre for Speech and Hearing and the National Cancer Screening Centre by M/s Dialog Axiata PLC - Sri Lanka

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to construct a four storey building in Narahenpita for the establishment of a special centre equipped with modern facilities to detect the symptoms of hearing and speech problems of children and elders and treat them and for the National Cancer Screening Centre to prevent cancer and the early detection of cancer symptoms, at a cost of Rs.146 million, with the funds provided by the Government and the financial sponsorship of the M/s Dialog Axiata PLC, was approved by the Cabinet.
