Establishment of the Air Force Fire Extinguishing Unit

- It has been decided to establish the Sri Lanka Air Force Fire Extinguishing Unit which was located at the D.R Wijewardane Mawatha, Colombo in another location according to the Colombo Megapolis Master Plan and the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence to relocate the said unit in a state owned land in extent of 1 acre called Bakeriya Watta situated at Narahenpita, was approved by the Cabinet.
