Green Power Development and Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Programme

- The proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the contract for the construction of the Colombo 'B' Grid Substation, installation of the In and Out electricity connection from the cable between the Kolonnawa and the Colombo 'C' Grid Substations and the improvement of the Kolonnawa and Colombo 'C' Grid Substations under the Green Power Development and Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Programme, to M/s Hyosung Corporation for a sum of Rs.1,260.78 million as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
