Construction of a new building for the Kekirawa Police Station

- Kekirawa Police Station is one which provides services to approximately 62,650 people living in 50 Grama Niladhari Divisions. There are 80 Police Officers serving in this Police Station and the building presently used for this purpose is a very old one with inadequate facilities. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the Minister of Public Administration & Management and Law & Order, to construct a new state of the art building for the Police Station, in order to bring out a more productive service for the people of the area, was approved by the Cabinet.
