Obtaining of Technical Consultancy Services for the successful implementation of the Empowerment of Programmes for the Samurdhi Beneficiaries

- An Entrepreneurs Motivation Programme named ''One Country One Product'', ''OTOT- One Tambon One Product'' for selling high standard local products within the country is conducted in Thailand very successfully. As such, the proposal made by Hon. P. Harison, the Minister of Social Empowerment, to enter into an agreement between the Thailand International Cooperation Agency, in the Ministry of Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Social Empowerment of Sri Lanka for obtaining technical consultancy in the implementation of the empowerment programmes for the promotion of the economic viability of the Samurdhi beneficiaries through the said programme conducted in Thailand, was approved by the Cabinet.
