Construction of an Airport Hotel at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake

- The proposal made by Hon. Ashoka Abeysinghe, the Acting Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to award the procurement for the Establishment and Operation of an Airport Hotel in a land owned by the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. (AASL) at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake to the consortium of M/s Thilanka Hotels (Pvt.) Ltd. and Striders Corporation, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
