Obtaining Consultancy services for the review of plans and supervision of constructions of the proposed Thalpitigala Reservoir Project

- It has been proposed to implement the Thalpitigala Reservoir Project to meet the water scarcity of the Bathmedilla Scheme in Uma Oya lower valley by the construction of the Uma Oya Multi‑Purpose Project. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Duminda Dissanayake, the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources & Disaster Management, to obtain the consultancy services for the review of plans and supervision of constructions of the project from the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB), was approved by the Cabinet.
