Construction of buildings for the use of the Ceylon Electricity Board

- It has been planned to construct eight housing complexes and a dormitory comprising of 24 rooms, available with all facilities for the Engineers in the Lakvijaya Power Plant in Puttalam. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the contract for the construction, to M/s George Steuart Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., in accordance with the recommendation of the Procurement Appeal Board, was approved by the Cabinet.
