Establishment of the New Villages Development Authority for Plantation Region

- The proposal made by Hon. U. Palani Digambaram, the Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development, to publish the New Villages Development Authority Act, in respect of the Plantation Region, prepared incorporating provisions for the establishment of the New Villages Development Authority, in the Government Gazette and subsequently, present the same in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
