Public Sector Efficiency Project (PSEP)

The European Union (EU) has agreed to provide a grant of Euro 10 million, to strengthen the Government Institutions functioning in respect of the Public Finance Management and its capacity building and approval of the Cabinet has been granted to pursue future action with regard to obtaining those funds. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media, to enter into the relevant Grant Agreement and to authorize the Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Mass Media to sign the same on behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka, was approved by the Cabinet.
