The proposed Health System Enhancement Project

It has been planned to enhance the health system of the North Central, Central, Sabaragamuwa and the Uva Provinces under the proposed health system enhancement project to be implemented under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Assistance and funds of the Sri Lanka Government. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to establish Project Management Units under the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and the relevant provincial level, for the implementation of the project and to recruit the necessary staff for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
