Entering into Three (03) Term Contracts to Purchase Refined Petroleum Products

The proposal made by Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development, to enter into Three (03) Term Contracts with the relevant suppliers to purchase 4,650,000 Gas Oil (Diesel) Barrels, 2,080,000 Jet A‑1 Gas Oil Barrels and 1,275,000 Gasoline (Petrol) Barrels required for a period of eight (08) months from the 15th of March 2018, as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SSCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
