Construction and augmentation of the Biyagama 220/33 kV Grid Substation

The proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the contract for the construction and augmentation of the Biyagama 220/33 kV Grid Substation implemented under the Green Power Development and Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Programme, to M/s ABB India Limited for a sum of Rs.1,434.11 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
