Sale of Mineral Products of the Lanka Mineral Sands Limited

The Lanka Mineral Sands Ltd. sells its main mineral products such as Ilmenite, Rutile, Zircon, Hi Ti Ilmenite etc. through the International Competitive Bidding Procedure. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, to sell 17,800 metric tons of mineral sands of different types to the highest bidders who have submitted their quotations, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
