Conducting of a feasibility study on the Proposed Flood Prevention and Development Project in the Galle District

The pre-feasibility study on the Proposed Flood Prevention and Development Project in the Galle District has now commenced and presently is in the process of collecting data from the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources Management and other Government Institutions. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Vajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Home Affairs, for the issuance of an Official Letter to the MCC International Limited mandated to carry out the pre‑feasibility study in order to obtain the required data officially from the relevant institutions, and to conduct matters relating to such study in coordination with the relevant Ministries and Institutions, was approved by the Cabinet.
