Entering into an Agreement between Sri Lanka and Russia on Military Cooperation

- The proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to enter into an Agreement on Military Cooperation, between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation, with a view to enhancing the bilateral military cooperation for strengthening mutual trust and international security, was approved by the Cabinet.
