Sanitation and Hygiene Initiative for Towns (SHIFT) Project for the Southern and Western Provinces of Sri Lanka - Design and Supervision Consultancy Services

Sanitation and Hygiene Initiative for the Towns in the Southern and Western Provinces of Sri Lanka will be implemented with the funds of the French Agency for Development and the Government of Sri Lanka. Improvement of the management capacity of the large scale sewerage system of the Water Supply and Drainage Board and the implementation of the Galle Unawatuna and Kelaniya Peliyagoda sewerage systems will be undertaken by this project. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to award the contract for Designing and providing consultancy services to the Joint Project established by the M/s Cabinet D'ETUDES MARC MERLIN and SWECO Denmark A/S Green Tech Consultants (Pvt) Ltd., as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
