Development of the rural roads in the Uva Province

The proposal made by Hon. Kabir Hashim, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award 15 contracts for the improvement of rural roads of a length of 557.31 KM in the District of Badulla in the Uva Province and 488.78 KM in length in the Monaragala District under the second Integrated Road Investment Programme funded by the Asia Development Bank as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
